Dr Shuja Chaudhry has performed more than 4,000 FUE hair transplants.

A broad surgical foundation

Dr Shuja qualified in medicine from King's College London in 2007 with merit, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Human Physiology. His early training covered general and breast surgery, internal medicine, intensive care, and accident and emergency, giving him a grounding in surgical technique and patient safety well beyond hair restoration.

In 2012 he gained his specialist qualification in General Practice and became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has focused on hair transplant surgery since 2015.

Beard, crown and full-range FUE

Dr Shuja performs the full range of FUE procedures, including hairline, crown, beard and eyebrow transplants. Crown work demands careful planning because of the way hair naturally swirls at the back of the head, and beard transplants need precise control of angle and direction to blend with existing facial hair. Both are areas where his attention to detail shows.

Corrective surgery and expert opinion

Many of Dr Shuja's patients come to him after disappointing results elsewhere. Repair work requires a surgeon who can assess what went wrong, work with a limited donor supply and restore a natural look.

Research and teaching

Dr Shuja has contributed to published surgical research and has a strong interest in teaching. He regularly lectures and supervises junior colleagues.
