Darryl consults in towns and cities across the UK, so you can be seen locally before you decide whether a hair transplant is right for you.

What happens in your consultation

Darryl examines your scalp, your pattern of hair loss and your donor density, taking high resolution images to record your starting point. He'll listen to your concerns and what you're hoping for, then explain in detail the treatment plan best suited to your needs.

Every question is answered honestly and openly. Your quotation and summary treatment plan follow once the full surgical team has reviewed your case and medical details.

Only the right candidates

Darryl's focus is making sure every patient who goes forward is a strong candidate for a hair transplant. If your hair loss is still progressing, if your donor area can't support the result you're hoping for, or if a transplant simply isn't the right answer for you, he'll say so. Telling someone to wait, or not to proceed at all, is part of the job. Often this can be established on your pre-assessment call with Darryl, before you go any further.

A patient as well as a consultant

Because he's been through it himself, Darryl knows how personal it feels and what the anxieties are. He gives patients the time to work through them properly.

Aftercare in person

Darryl's involvement doesn't end at your procedure. He's available to meet patients in person after treatment to see how healing is progressing and how the result is developing, so questions can be dealt with face to face, or remotely if you'd prefer. The person who assessed your hair at the start stays available afterwards, alongside our wider surgical and aftercare team.

Darryl handles your initial consultation and your aftercare. Your hair transplant itself is performed by one of our GMC-registered surgeons, and Darryl stays with you at each step of the journey.
